Join us for a great fall weekend event! It's "Full Metal Jacket" fall camp-o-ree. This event is for all registered Boy Scouts and Second Year Webelos. So Troops, don't forget to invite them!
This year's event begins Friday night with Troops arriving at 6 p.m. Troops should provide their own meal Friday night. Following campsite set up, there will be a welcoming campfire and a cracker barrel for all Senior Patrol Leaders and Scoutmasters.
Saturday morning following breakfast (Troop provided) the Scouts will move between various stations working on the plumbing merit badge requirements. These requirements involve working with copper, steel and lead.
Following lunch, which is provided, Scouts and Leaders will rotate to the local Shooting Range where they will participate in various shooting skills. The cost of this is covered in your registration fee. Troops are responsible for transportation of their Scouts to the range.
Unfortunately, Webelos II's are not allowed to participate in the shooting activity.
Dinner Saturday evening is provided and will be followed by Chapel.
Cost for this event is $30 per Boys Scout and $25 per Webelos II. Adults are $15 per person. Registration is now open and units can register at this price until September 26th. After that date participants will pay an additional $10 per person. Registration closes October 7th.
Each Scout participating in the shooting activities must have a parent signed permission form. This form must accompany the Scout to the event.
Each person attending this event must complete a Health Form parts A and B. Health forms wills be returned at the end of the event.
